The day I wrote this article, I actually put the 5 things I wanted to get done into my journaling software the night before. By about 9:30 am I’d completed everything on the list. Finish each day by writing the 5 most important things you want to get done tomorrow and start each day by working those 5 things. Just planning it all the night before is a great way to reduce decision fatigue.

We often don’t realize that the key to having productive days is planning, and that means planning before the day even starts. Take 10 minutes at the end of each day to plan for the next day. Do this for 21 days and then it will be a habit. Having your clothes laid out will give you one less excuse to not go to the gym, and will hopefully help motivate you.
