Take The Time To Be Upset Privately, during this time, you will be going through a lot of emotions. It’s important that you process these emotions and not just stuff them down deeply and ignore them. It’s healthiest to work through your feelings, but do so privately. This doesn’t mean that you must do it alone, find a close friend, family member, or trusted person in your life and discuss it with them.
Identify Where You Were At Fault, take ownership of any faults you may have had, this will lead to tremendous growth both professionally and personally. Identify What Was Not Your Fault, because you need to focus on the truth, putting something on your shoulders that was not your fault is not healthy.
Reaffirm Who You Are, be honest with yourself, evaluate your skills truthfully, the lessons learned in this situation are things that you will take with you for the rest of your career. This event, if processed and reacted to in a healthy way, may be the best thing that could’ve happened to you.
