Saturday and Sunday tend to be the busiest. Thursday and Tuesday are often the best days to go for shorter queues, while Saturday and Sunday tend to be the busiest. The most popular months are typically August, July and June, while February, March and May are normally quieter.

I think it's going to be busy every day. The best advice I could give you is to get there before opening time and be first in the queue. My vote is - busy everyday during school holidays. I would go on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays in preference of other days, esp weekends. In terms of visitors per day they said Tuesday but quietest period was Sunday before 1pm. Being a crowd hater, I asked the same question when I was on the Gold Coast with my kids and I was staying with my sister in law in Currumbin and her answer to me was Sunday. I found this really hard to believe at first but followed her local experience advice and she was right. As crazy as it seemed to me, the quietest day was the Sunday.
