If you focus on a particular topic or if your attention is focused on it, you concentrate on it and think about it, discuss it, or deal with it, rather than dealing with other topics. The focus of something is the main topic or main thing that it is concerned with. Your focus on something is the special attention that you pay it. If you say that something has a focus, you mean that you can see a purpose in it. He said his sudden focus on foreign policy was not motivated by presidential politics. The report's focus is on how technology affects human life rather than business. IBM has also shifted its focus from mainframes to personal computers. Somehow, though, their latest album has a focus that the others have lacked. Suddenly all of the seemingly isolated examples took on a meaningful focus.

The proposed method just focuses on generating an enclosed ellopsoid, which is as large as possible, to fit the polyhedron tightly. Scientists recognize that the biology of annuals is focused by the need to produce seed for the next generation. There follows a chapter focusing on the meaning of trauma and its impact on an individual's sense of identity. Much of the relevant literature focuses on the first of these issues to the exclusion of the second. However, 4.1 focuses on issues of grammatical theory, ones of importance to syntax.

A better way to understand focus is to think of it as a gathering. A gathering of all your resources, energy, and ideas and deploying them towards a singular purpose. To make one big ask. To fight one impossible opponent. To tackle one outstanding goal. Because, as you'll see, a truly focused creator is an unstoppable one. If you look up the origin of focus, you'll find that the word came from the center of a home — the hearth. It was the meeting point, the epicenter of activity, the point of convergence. For most of us, focus is synonymous with attention. But this definition is incomplete.

To focus on what actually, if we were to not, what will happen, we always hear that ‘focus’ is the key, but to what, is it to success or what. This, in my opinion, I believe that is a question or conversation that has to do with a mindset shift, its a topic or concept on imagination, having a vision and direction. And most importantly, it has to do with success, your achievements, destiny, and goals. To reach them, you need to focus. Cambridge dictionary defines the term focus as ‘the main or central point of something, especially of attention or interest.” Steve Jobs once said, People think focus means saying yes to the things you’ve got to focus on, but that’s not what it means at all, it means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that are there, you have to pick carefully. A focused person, what I have learned is that you will see them by not taking all the opportunities, they have learned to say “no” even to the best of opportunities, that is what is meant to FOCUS.

Focus is hard to define fully, it has many meanings, but what I’m referring to here is the act of being able to concentrate or give your direct attention to an activity you perform. Focus is having the ability to only say Yes to one activity and No to all the other activities. Focus doesn’t require you to drop all the items you said no to, but rather in the present moment to put these items on hold until the item you said Yes to is completed. If you ask anyone who you believe is productive, they will tell you that they simply just focus on one thing at a time. You can only truly concentrate on one thing at a time. With all the things you can possibly do, how do you find focus, how do you specifically know what thing to focus on, how do you know that thing is the thing you should put all of your energy into doing.
