I put one in my purse and one in my suitcase. I had zero problems, and both were done in, like, five minutes. My backpack AirTag was indeed with me, but my suitcase AirTag was still in Germany. I was even able to see it on a highway less than an hour's drive from my parents' house. I put one in my purse and one in my suitcase.

I have makeup remover wipes, facial moisturiser, a scrunchie, a toothbrush, and sunscreen. I have curly hair, so I have to pineapple at night.

I keep all my makeup and toiletries in a handy toiletries bag. It has three compartments, so I like to organize them according to needs. In the first section, I keep all my teeth cleaning essentials: a manual toothbrush, tongue brush, floss, and a mini toothpaste. I also like to keep a bottle of Rohto eyedrops in case of a late night, and I don’t want to risk looking scary in the morning. I try my best to be no-fuss about my hair, so I just keep a hair brush and hair ties in this section. I also like to keep all my makeup essentials for a quick, fast, no-fuss look. Bring something comfortable—a no-brainer outfit that you know will make you feel your best no matter what. I really like a comfortable t-shirt dress. If it’s an overnight trip, it’s probably not necessary to pack an extra pair of shoes, but no weekend trip feels complete without bringing an extra pair just in case. A good pair of nude flats have been my absolute favorites since 10th grade in high school.

A moving essentials bag should contain the items you’re most likely to need on the day of your move and then also the first couple of days in your new home. Your specific items depend on your specific needs, but these basics should get you started. Your wallet and keys are essential, losing them is too easy to do any day of the week, let alone moving day. Medications you regularly use, especially prescription medications that can’t be easily obtained if they get lost, should be close to hand in your essentials bag. Important documents, such as birth certificates, National Insurance, passports, insurance documents, and anything else that requires keeping careful track of, should also be included. Basic toiletries, like toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, contacts lenses/solution, soap, hand sanitiser, etc, will make life easier. A roll of toilet paper is also a must, as well as a small tool kit containing the bare necessities, like a screwdriver, wrench, and measuring tape. Scissors or a small gliding knife will come in handy to open boxes. PJs, snacks and water are also important to include, as moving house requires energy and hydration.
