We’ve had a variety of toys in the playfields and lately we have been having some guarding issues with the dogs. I’ve temporarily suspended any toys with the dogs that they can physically possess in their mouth so really anything besides the jolly egg that we have here. I’m trying to find a solution that will give enrichment to the dogs but have minimal guarding issues. One of my employees with previous daycare experience mentioned that they only had 1 type of dog toy in the playfield at all times, I’m wondering if that would make a difference.

Most doggy daycare facilities provide supplies for your pup during their stay, but pet owners are still encouraged to bring some of their own items. If your dog has a special food or water bowl, favorite treats, or a comfort toy, packing these items can help them stay happy and comfortable during their stay. Sure, most doggy daycares will have plenty of toys and treats, but packing one or two of your pup’s favorite toys can serve as a security blanket and help remind them of home. Just make sure these items are allowed.

Toys are an important element to keep your dogs active and entertained. Dogs generally get connected with their toys and want to play with them all the time. If your dog has such toys, you should pack them in their bag for the kennel. Do not forget to add their favourite toy, which will help them be happy and comfortable. Favourite Toys are vital items to pack while sending your dog to a kennel or a boarding. You can pack a few items your pup likes, which will definitely make their day.

Toys that require dogs to figure out how to get a treat or toy are perfect for mental stimulation.
