Many times, when he is walking on leash, or arriving to the dog park, without doing ANYTHING, other dogs become FURIOUS and start barking/growling at him. I am starting to feel sorry for Ziggy and wonder what it is about him that might trigger this, because in these situations he didn't even try to get too close or play. Could it be because he is very tall and big (around 100lbs !! and I assure you that it is NOT lack of exercise!)? Or could he be just giving off a "strange" vibe? Is that even a thing for dog?

The facility we bring her to provides training courses of many kinds as well as a dog park that you have to be approved/tested to utilize. Peach has always been extremely submissive to other dogs - immediately on her back showing her belly, excessive licking of other dogs’ faces. The Dane immediately was on top of her, pinned her, his hair was up on his back and he was literally just biting the crap out of her as she was screaming bloody murder trying to be as submissive to him as possible. The owner of the facility said he is done and not welcome back to the park. Said he showed this overly assertive behavior since 10 weeks old when he started coming, was just a matter of time. The owners of the Dane said he’s “never done anything like this” before. Peach seems to be much less submissive with dogs smaller than her, though I worry that’s more of a prey drive thing as her hair will stand up on her back and I can tell she starts to fixate a bit.
