Why doesn't my dog want to go on walks anymore?

Sometimes when we're walking he'll just stop and refuse to keep going, he'll just want to turn around and go home. Sometimes it'll be just 10 minutes into our walk, other times it'll be because I've decided to go in a direction he doesn't want to go in. When he really doesn't want to keep going, no treat or reward will get him moving.
