This dental hygiene formula for dogs has been created to clean tartar and plaque from the teeth and to improve the overall health and hygiene of the mouth and gums.
For faster tartare removal add abrasive natural chews or size-appropriate raw bones.
Dogs under 10kg Generous pinch of the powder
Dogs 10-22kg Quarter teaspoon approx. 1g
Dogs 23-39 kg Half a teaspoon approx. 2g
Dogs 40+kg One-level teaspoon approx. 3g
Use for seven days a week for 15 weeks.
For maintenance drop down to feeding the blend 4 days a week or what you find to be effective for your dog.
If your dog already has clean healthy teeth and you want to keep it that way, then please read the blog for suggestions on what amount to give for maintenance.

Daily teeth cleaning can keep your dog's dental hygiene in check. You can do this through daily brushing, a suitable diet and dental chews. Giving your dog dental chews and a suitable diet also has some effect in reducing plaque. Specially formulated diets for dental care are also available. Your vet will be able to advise you on the most suitable food for your dog. You can start by brushing your dog’s teeth daily, using a suitable brush or rubber thimble. You'll also need to use a dog-friendly toothpaste. Do not use human toothpaste, as it contains chemicals that can be toxic to dogs.

Brush your dog's teeth regularly. Dental chews and treats are also a good way of helping to keep your dog's teeth clean. Feed them the right food - some owners favour wet foods for their dog over dry. However, dry dog food may have the added benefit of exercising their chewing muscles and provide a mild cleaning effect on the teeth. You should keep brushing your dog's teeth as part of a regular grooming routine. Ask your vet first - before you start cleaning your dog's teeth, it's always best to ask your vet to show you the best way to do this. Start teeth cleaning when they're a puppy and brush their teeth everyday to get them used to it. Buy a dog toothpaste - human ones aren't suitable.
