I have read conflicting things on this topic but I have an energetic 6 month old border collie husky mix. We go on walks on the bridal trails almost every day the weather is nice. These walls are about 1-2 miles with an occasional stop to sit down or check out the river. He usually comes home and tries to play some more with my other dog but I ushally separate them so he can settle down for a nap and he will fall asleep for a long rest. I just want to know if this distance is too much for a puppy of his age we both really enjoy them but I want to make sure he is safe.
