You should begin to leave them alone for short periods to prevent separation-related behaviour. This is an important time for your puppy, as what they learn and experience now will shape their future behaviour. Your puppy isn't fully vaccinated yet, but it's important to continue socialisation by giving your puppy positive experiences like introducing them to new people, sights and sounds. Carrying them around outside to introduce them to new people, sights and sounds. Establish a consistent routine and rules - reward good behaviour and ignore bad behaviour. Around this age, you can also socialise your pup outside once they're fully vaccinated.

Be patient, animals need to establish their own rules and hierarchy to live harmoniously and older pets usually lead the way with this. Always supervise, never leave your puppy alone with other pets. Set up a safe zone, give your puppy a place to escape to when they’re tired or intimidated. Allow individual spaces, each pet needs their own territory where they can rest and eat undisturbed, so make sure yours have separate beds and feeding areas. Cats, in particular, will need peace and quiet out of your puppy’s reach. Reduce the threat, introduce other pets to your new puppy one by one on neutral ground, such as the garden or a park, so they’re less likely to feel threatened.
