I know 30 isn't too old, more asking if I'm likely to make much physical ability progress without taking too seriously and dedication. Already seen progress and with a few months of light work out and 2 weeks of more intense calisthenics training. Not looking to become superhuman or anything, always been strong and active but lost alot of strength and motivation in 10 years especially in the last 3 years, feeling a new found motivation and realising it's never to late to improve life habits and routine. Lost a stone this year and feel now is my chance. Not saying I'm not trying but limited too how much and when I can do it. 30 years old trying to do calisthenics.

Not by a long shot. In fact, your thirties can be the perfect time to dive into this transformative discipline. I started calisthenics at 28. Calisthenics is all about embracing the natural, primal movements of your body. Your body doesn't forget how to do them just because you've hit 30. By your thirties, you've likely gained a good deal of life experience and wisdom. You have a stronger foundation to build upon, and the lessons you've learned in life can be applied to your fitness journey. So, is 30 too late for calisthenics? Absolutely not. In fact, it's an excellent time to start or continue your calisthenics journey. Your thirties can be the decade in which you build a stronger, more resilient body and a sharper, more focused mind. It's never too late to become the best version of yourself.

These elderly people in their 70s and 80s looked like they were in their 40s and 50s. The winner of the competition was an 87-year-old Conor from Ireland. This suggests that age is not necessarily a barrier to participating in physical activities like calisthenics. One weekend, I attended a wrestling competition for mature men. It wasn’t until I encountered a mentor who generously offered to coach me in both calisthenics and wrestling that my journey took a transformative turn. During my twenties, I was a long-distance runner with a deep passion for wrestling. Despite my enthusiasm for wrestling, I faced challenges due to weak muscles and abdominal obesity in a slender body, preventing me from actively participating.
