i saw some weird pdf made by doordash that seemed to say it was possible to do but it didn’t show how. and idk if it was even legit. can i block her. i just dont want her to get an order i place ever again so she doesnt steal my food again.

Couriers can now more easily report via in-app chat a safety incident during or after delivery, and choose to block future deliveries to that customer. The firm also introduced a chat feature that can detect inappropriate or offensive language between consumer and courier—the latter who may choose to cancel the order without penalty. It's unclear if DoorDashers will have to adhere to any sort of criteria before blocking a customer. Rolling out first to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the US, couriers can now block clients and cancel a rude customer's order.

You can rate your Dasher and overall delivery experience by navigating to your DoorDash Merchant Portal and selecting the Orders tab.
From here, you can block the Dasher if you experienced an issue severe enough that you do not want the Dasher to return to your store, or opt to prefer a Dasher if you had a great experience.
All we need from you is the order you experienced an issue with.
Our Trust and Safety team will investigate the incident and determine the best course of action.
Depending on the details of the incident, you may receive communication from DoorDash confirming that the Dasher has been blocked and will not be assigned to you in the future.
We may take additional steps, including permanently removing users from the platform, but may be unable to share specific outcomes.
