You should aim to have 1-3 personal training sessions per week, for 6 consecutive weeks to begin with. Depending on your goals, starting point, and physical ability, one personal training session can be enough, although 1-3 personal training sessions per week is recommended. For those new to exercise, 2-3 personal training sessions per week is recommended to ensure that you develop proper form and a sustainable routine. For those more advanced, or for athletes, one session of personal training per week can help to develop a suitable program to help them meet their goals and improve performance. A personal trainer will help you to establish and set goals that work towards your initial aims, and will help you to set and maintain a suitable routine that helps you get there. A PT Ensures Proper Form, which is particularly beneficial to those new to exercise, and particularly those new to strength training. Accountability and Motivation is also provided by a personal trainer, which will encourage you to keep going and help you see results faster.

Once a week is perfect for many reasons. Once a week will go a long way to keeping you healthy. Training once a week, will increase strength and improve cardiovascular fitness. Couple the above with improved sleep, mood and less risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes. If you train at home or in a gym, we can provide you with an exercise programme to do alongside your PT session. The once a week session is great as we can check in, refine technique and add fun variation into your programme. As you can see there’s a huge amount of benefit from training once a week. Exercise is such a positive factor to have in life we would enthusiastically recommend it in any amount.
