My sister has a 3 year old corgi who has recently started displaying food aggression towards other dogs. He is staying with me and my dog for the next 2 weeks. I have been feeding them in separate rooms, at set times, but I would like to work on improving this. For example, I was filling the corgi's dish in the pantry, with the door closed, as soon as I opened the door, he freaked out on my dog, didn't bite him, but snapped and lunged at him. My dog is now hiding under the bed. I've been doing some research but I can only find tips on what to do when the dog has food aggression towards humans, which he doesn't have.
