We originally got ours due to ill health, but there are lots of other reasons why you may need a pet stroller. Older dogs still like a good long walk but can’t always keep up with their younger brothers now they are a little more senior. With my stroller I can have a walk and rest as I feel the need. Strollers are great if your dog is disabled, injured or unwell. You get the benefits of some fresh air and stimulation even if you can’t walk very far. A stroller will keep your dog off the vet’s floor if you’re worried about picking up any germs or bugs. A stroller is ideal to transfer your dog from the car to the office/shop and provides a safe place for them to have a nap whilst you get on with work. Strollers are easier on your back and shoulders than traditional pet carriers. A stroller keeps your dog safe, injury free and stops them eating all the food waste that humans drop on the ground. A stroller will protect your dog's paws from hot tarmac which can burn. In the winter, road salt and grit can also damage and irritate paws, but a stroller can keep their paws protected from these hazards.

Just following doctor’s orders, they zipped Rover into a dog stroller and everyone got out of the house for some fresh air while still following doctor’s orders. The stroller allows them to come to the park, walk on the grass, and get stronger. Falling while walking to the park on the hard asphalt and concrete of the city would be dangerous, but a tumble on the grass is much safer until they completely recover. A stroller lets you continue on the walk without breaking your back carrying a tired dog. You can give your dog a safe place of her own while still being part of the family. Doctor’s orders, dog safety, and your back – all good reasons for dog strollers to be on your “Doggie Do” list. A stroller is a don’t for healthy dogs who need regular exercise to maintain themselves in option body condition.

He doesn’t mind being in a purse/bag but as you can imagine it gets a little annoying carrying 15 pounds around. We like to take my 8 month old 15 lbs puppy to farmers markets, dog friendly towns, etc. however, he normally getting tired after about 1-2 hours so we either have to leave or sit somewhere long enough for him to nap. So as much as I don’t want to be this person, I’m thinking about getting a stroller for him.
